原本在本季NBA球賽開打前，被外界看好的布魯克林籃網隊，在經過一個月的賽程後的戰績卻是淒慘無比。近幾場在主場的比賽，籃網更是被自己的球迷噓爆。剛從球員身份轉為總教練的傑森奇德，可說是名譽掃地。
籃網今年為了重振球隊，於重量級交易中挖角塞爾提克兩大球星：賈奈特與皮爾斯，另外又從灰狼挖來基里蘭柯。搭配原有的得分王威廉斯、強森與羅培茲，堅強的陣容原本被外界認為是本屆NBA最強的黃金組合。沒想到開季以來輸多贏少，戰績在東區墊底徘徊遲遲未見好轉。
更讓人難過的是，已名列NBA名人堂的傳奇後衛傑森奇德，在今年風光退休後轉任籃網隊總教練，卻在上任頭一個月打出十分難看的戰績。也許傑森奇德應該脫下西裝，自己跳下球場來打球，才能拯救這個號稱本屆「最危險的陣容」。
(Sport) Brooklyn Nets Continue to Deliver Appalling Performance
Going into this NBA season, the Brooklyn Nets were originally viewed as a strong competitor. However, their performance in the past month has been abysmal. What is more, the Nets have even been booed by their own fans in recent home games. Jason Kidd, who has just made the transition from player to head coach of the team, has in turn suffered a reputation hit.
This year, in a bid to revamp the team, the Nets have acquired Celtics stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in a blockbuster trade, and also snatched Andrei Kirilenko from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Together with leading scorer Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez, the supposedly unbeatable combination had led them to be the favorites to win this NBA season. Much to everyones disappointment, though, the Nets have had more losses than wins so far this season, with their power rankings in the East lingering at the bottom, struggling to make a comeback.
Adding fuel to the flame, it is legendary Hall-of-Fame point guard Jason Kidds first month as the Nets new head coach, after retiring from his playing career earlier this year to pursue the position, and he has failed miserably to impress. Perhaps Kidd should take off his suit and get back on the court in order to save the so-called most dangerous team of this season.
