鼎泰豐鋒芒勝過麥當勞和星巴克，拿下世界第二優良連鎖店的頭銜。
鼎泰豐以精緻小籠包聞名，在CNN旅遊列的「對旅客而言的最佳連鎖店」榜上排行第二。總部位於台北的這間連鎖餐廳獲譽為有「將簡單的東西轉變成優質出眾」的能力。其小籠包透明的皮也獲得極高評價，因為用餐者大快朵頤一番之前能看見內容物。
鼎泰豐自1958年開店之後，它已經拓展到11個國家並獲得不少美譽，包括其香港分店得到的米其林一星。然而，其不接受預約的規定意味著消費者必須依先到先吃的準則排隊，而根據CNN所說，這引來了「消費者大多都抱怨長時間的等候」。
同時，居排行名單之首的是隨處皆有的7-11便利商店連鎖店，全球超過五萬個地方都有。麥當勞由於其卓越的服務而排行第三。其他間擠進前十的連鎖店包含：星巴克、摩斯漢堡、肯德基和無印良品。

Din Tai Fung outshined McDonalds and Starbucks to claim the title of the worlds second best chain store.
Din Tai Fung, famous for its delicate steamed dumplings, ranked second on a list of best franchises for travelers created by CNN Travel. The Taipei-based restaurant chain was commended for having taken something simple and turned it sublime. The transparent skin of its dumplings was also highly praised for diners can easily see the contents before digging in.
Since Din Tai Fungs opening in 1958, it has expanded to 11 countries and garnered a number of honors, including one Michelin star for its Hong Kong branch. However, its no-reservation policy means customers have to line up on a first-come, first-served basis and this, according to CNN, has led to customers complaining about hour-long waits at most of them.
Meanwhile, at the top of the list is the ubiquitous 7-Eleven convenience store chain, with over 50,000 locations around the globe. McDonalds places third with its exceptional service. Other franchises that made it to the top 10 include Starbucks, MOS Burger, KFC and Muji.
