印尼人對台灣對待外籍幫傭的態度讚譽有加，甚至還說其他國家應該視台灣為模範。
印尼國會副議長Priyo Budi Santoso感謝台灣善待超過27.5萬名在台灣受雇的印尼幫傭勞工。前印尼全國移民勞工安置保護局局長Agus Prihono Roostiawati稱讚台灣比其他國家更善待印尼家庭幫傭；像是中東國家的話，境遇就比其他印尼在國外工作的勞工要糟糕。
據家庭幫傭指出，台灣的優點不僅只有善待勞工。據報台灣的薪資也高於平均，馬來西亞全國職業介紹所組織的數據顯示印尼女傭在台賺取的薪資比馬來西亞、新加坡、香港和中東國家的多。雇主家庭和幫傭之間的關係看起來也比較緊密，許多印尼人說獲得像是家人一般的待遇。
(Local) Taiwan Ranked High in Treatment of Domestic Helpers
Indonesians have commended Taiwan for its treatment of domestic helpers, even going so far as to say that Taiwan should be considered as an example for other countries.
Deputy speaker for the Indonesian legislature, Priyo Budi Santoso, thanked Taiwan for its treatment of the more than 275,000 Indonesian domestic workers who are employed in Taiwan. Agus Prihono Roostiawati, the former director of the National Agency for Placement and Protection of Indonesian Overseas Workers, praised Taiwan as giving higher treatment to domestic helpers than countries such as those in the Middle East, where treatment is much poorer for Indonesian employees abroad.
Treatment is not the only thing that domestic helpers reported as being higher. Salary is also reported as being above average in Taiwan, as data compiled by the Malaysia National Association of Employment Agencies showed that Indonesian maids earned more in Taiwan than in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and countries in the Middle East. The relationships between families and caregivers also appear stronger, with many Indonesians reporting being treated like family.
