The markets for software and websites for writing have also expanded immensely in recent years. Websites such as Scrivener facilitate writers progress, and websites such as NoNoWriMo, a web-based community of writers that commit to writing a 50,000 word novel in 30 days, give writers the ability to work collectively. Multimodality usage has increased overall as well, and writing that incorporates video, still images, audio and animations is increasingly becoming mainstream.
